Letter From The Editor: Issue 7

Happy early Thanksgiving! If you missed us last week, it’s because we’ll now be on a biweekly schedule, at least over the holidays. Make sure to follow us using the social media links at the end of this issue so you won’t miss anything!

This week, we’ve interviewed hometown hero, William Clayton, about what it’s like to be a young entrepreneur in Greensboro. I was really impressed with his advice to people considering moving into a creative field, or just changing careers in general. I also enjoyed what he had to say about downtown. I love to hear about how local business support each other here, and it’s something that I’ve experienced firsthand with this newsletter (thanks!).

Next up, we’ll walk you through hosting or attending your first bourbon tasting with a little help from Nino Giaimo, owner of Gia on New Garden. I can’t overstate what an expert he is—Gia has their own custom bourbon from Woodford so we’re pulling out the big guns on this one.

Lastly, we’ll hear from our favorite Instagram influencer, Melissa Capozio of @thelittlereadingcorner, on what you should be reading over the Thanksgiving break.

Wishing you the warmest and happiest of holidays!
Yours fondly,
Lauren Davidson
